The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba has known the illegal and unacceptable attack on last Sunday 26 by U.S. army troops against a Syrian village on the border with Iraq, following the death of 8 civilians.

The Foreign Ministry considers that this criminal action is a grave violation of International Law and the Charter of the United Nations, and the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Syrian Arab Republic. Therefore, express its strongest condemnation of this new arrogant act from U.S. government.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba reiterates its solidarity with the people and Syrian Government, and demand from the U.S. government immediately stops such actions against a sovereign state.
