A Cuban cultural delegation composed by 16 artists attended to the 3rd. Doha’s Cultural Festival, which took place last March.

Another year more, the most traditional Cuban music has been listened all along the seaside of this city, this time the “Septeto Matamoros” has been the musical band that has delighted to the present with the richness of the Cuban rhythm, in conjunction with a dancing, magic and circus show.  At the same time an exhibition of Cubans’ plastic artists was carried out, both with a great acceptance by the Qatari and the foreign population residents and visitors.

The Cuban cultural delegation attended to other collateral activities organized by the Cuban Embassy in the State of Qatar, showing during all the performances the truly value of the Cuban cultural heritage.  

Qatar is a small state, rich in natural resources, situated in west bank of the Persian Gulf. They have decide to organize these Festival yearly, with the aim of create an environment of cultural knowledge and exchange among different countries and cultures. This time participated more than 20 countries from Europe, Asia, Africa, and Latin America. Our subcontinent was represented by Cuba and Mexico
