Granted by the Qatar’s Social Development Center, a Cultural Exhibition with the presence of 30 Diplomatic Missions credited in Doha took place. 

The Qatar’s Social Development Center has proposed to organize yearly this sort of event with the aim of promoting the national culture, traditions and heritage of the different peoples of the world, mostly those with diplomatic representations in Qatar. This event took place in the Qatar Exhibition Center, and was visited by the Minister of Economy and Trade and other represents of the Qatari Government..

The Cuban Embassy in Doha exposed in a small stand samples of handcrafts, jewelry, and painting. Also the presence of the famous Cuban Cigars and the most genuine Cuban Music was remarkable. Other several informative materials regarding political, historical, social, and cultural about our country were offered.

The Exhibition stayed opened during three days and was widely press-covered. The Cuban participation in this event has had a great cultural and social meaning, and has contributed to promote the image and values of our country. At the same time, was felt the sensitivity and solidarity and admiration of the Qatari people to Cuba and its Revolution.
