Doha • Chairman of the Central Municipal Council (CMC) Ibrahim Abdul Raheem Al Haidous met here yesterday with the Third Secretary at the Cuban Embassy in Doha.

During the meeting, the CMC role, the outcome of the latest Municipal elections in Qatar and the function of municipal councils in both countries were reviewed, together with a host of municipal-related issues of common interest. Also during the meeting, an invitation was handed to the CMC chairman to attend a conference on municipal councils functions due to convene in Havana, Cuba.
