Doha, 03.30.08: The Qatari Press and in particular Al Raya newspaper in Arabic, in it’s edition of Sunday  highlighted that  His Highness  Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar,  received a written message from His Excellency. 

Mr. Raúl Castro, President of the Republic of Cuba, who turned on the bilateral relations and a number of issues of common interest. The message was delivered by the H.E. Mr. Felipe Pérez Roque,

Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during an audience given to him by His Highness the Emir at margin of the XX Arab Summit celebrated in Damascus.

The meeting was attended by high dignitaries and other members of the official delegation that accompanied His Highness the Emir.
